Both mice exhibited the exact same behavior. I've considered that the problem was mouse-hardware related, but after using a different Magic Mouse the problem was not resolved and the issue persisted. ![]() ![]() After said reboots, the problem will be gone for up to 5 minutes, after which the problem kicks in again. I have tried hard-reboot and soft reboots, including with resetting PRAM en NVRAM and deleting preference files associated with the mouse and bluetooth. Right mouse click will now only work via the control-click. (the file floats back to its previous position). When I select a file to drag/dop it just 'wont let go' and sticks to the cursor until I press escape. Since today I'm having a serious problem with my Magic Mouse (the lightning version) on my 27" iMac 2017.įor some reason, rightclicking no longer works and drag-n-drop is no longer functioning.
